Heale House and its eight acres of beautiful gardens lie beside the river Avon at Middle Woodford, just north of Salisbury, Wiltshire. Much of the house is unchanged since King Charles II hid here in 1651.

Spring is an enchanting season to visit Heale Gardens. Our snowdrops and aconites herald the change in the seasons, followed by a bright display of daffodils as Spring arrives. Come and explore the walled garden and the tranquility of the Japanese water garden or stroll on the banks of the river Avon, famous for its trout.
The garden centre offers a wide selection of flowers and other plants with professional advice. Next to the garden centre, enjoy homemade light lunches and teas in the coffee shop.
